Indication
When the conservative method does not help
The minimally invasive TESSYS® method is suitable for almost every intervertebral surgery when conservative methods of treatment fail to bring the desired success.
Classic indications for an intervertebral surgery include the Lasègue-Signs and the Cauda-Equina-Syndrom. Every intervertebral surgery – including the TESSYS® surgery – requires prior clarification by means of imaging procedures (MRT, CT, Radiography). A discography offers final confirmation of the definite position of the hernia, and is conducted during the surgery using a spinal needle from the TESSYS® Disposable Access Kit (see operation instruction).
